Who dreamed this little white girl from Kentucky would end up in the African bush!?
Well actually I did.
I created this blog (with a little help from my awesome friend Abigail) to build a really long bridge…not between countries or cities…but between hearts on opposite sides of the world. It’s a way for me to stay connected to family and friends back in the US and a way for you all to stay in the know about where I am and what I’m doing while in Africa.
I’d like to invite you to take a journey with me. Come take a walk inside of my dream. Look into the big brown eyes that cause me to smile and cause me to weep. Let them be unforgettable.
When you are sitting in your office
or watching sitcoms on your couch
please remember me…in a little village, on a dirt floor,
teaching elementary students that their dreams matter,
letting young girls know that their voice is heard and
whispering to babies that they are loved

Oh my! Thank you for including me in your adventure! You are a brave lady! You will be missed and I hope you will contact me when you return:0) I will continue to keep in touch with you and I will pray for you! I would love to help you other ways but I am still paying for my 2 college kids. My spirit of travel will be right there with you though! Wishing you well! Lynn
